All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) payed glorious tributes to late Advocate Gh Mohideen Regu on his 19th martyrdom anniversary and said that the case file was shelved, enquiry closed and those involved in his murder are roaming free. Huriyat said that Col Bawa, Major Poniya of 17 Jat & a JK police officer Mushtaq Sadiq are involved for his brutal murder, however the assassins were provided a safe exit by state authorities.

Huriyat said that Col Bawa, Major Poniya of 17 Jat & a JK police officer Mushtaq Sadiq  are involved for his brutal murder, however the assassins were provided a safe exit by state authorities.

 

Statement said that late Ad Regu was a pro-freedom activist and an intelligent at par excellence. In a joint operation, he was arrested by 17 Jat and police on February 1/1998, said Huriyat.  He was killed in custody and his mutilated dead body was thrown on a road side, said Huriyat.

 

Though a FIR was lodged and case investigated and later without assigning any reason case was closed.

 

Huriyat in its statement while praying for late Regu, expressed their sympathy and solidarity with his family.
